Our driver, Mr. Rajinder, was an expert at navigating the traffic and roadways and always ensured that we had ice cold water during the trip. It was very comforting to a have a friendly, familiar face helping us navigate the journey along the way. He also made sure that we stopped at very clean and safe restrooms which was greatly appreciated. He went above and beyond by driving us to and from dinner at the Rambaugh Palace in Jaipur. I would highly recommend that you request Mr. Rajinder for your trip as well!

Our tour guides for each leg of the trip were also fantastic. Naresh gave us a wonderful tour of Delhi, including a very nice lunch at a local establishment, and managed to bypass long lines at the various attractions we visited. Ashook was our Agra tour guide/photographer. He took amazing photos for us at the Taj Mahal that will help us fondly remember our trip there for a lifetime. Kamal, our Jaipur tour guide, ensured that we had an unforgettable experience of riding an elephant and also gave us a special surprise by taking us to the Jaipur tombs which were stunning (and a welcome supplement to the original tour itinerary).

We stayed at the Jaypee Palace in Agra which had a lovely garden courtyard that our room faced. In Jaipur, we stayed at the Hilton which was very clean and convenient. All in all I would highly recommend this tour.

Almost last minute we decided to change our pick up time to see Taj Mahal in time for sunrise and no issue was made.... read more Despite the weather being so so, we appreciated how empty Taj Mahal was at 5am, perfect to take photos and avoid the crowds which start arriving around 7am. Our first guide was extremely helpful with photos and even suggested best angles and locations 🙂
Our guide in Jaipur was extremely knowledgeable not only about our stops but also any other India related questions we had.
We did make a few stops that were not on the itinerary, a jewelry shop, textile printing shop & a gemstone/marble shop. First you’ll get a quick quite interesting explanation of how they work on their crafts and later will be invited back into the shop to look at the ready made products. They do try to persuade to buy but are not pushy at all with the sales, don’t feel forced to buy into anything you don’t want to 🙂

All drives and entrances to all the monuments went smoothly, and it was a real privilege to have access to an air conditioned car and bottled water with temperatures hitting the high 110s Fahrenheit (40s Celsius). Each day started and finished at a reasonable hour, dodging the main heat and leaving time to relax. The guides each day were very well versed in the history of these sites, and they were not shy about answering questions. My only advice if you do this tour: specify in advance if you do not want to visit the marble shop in Agra or inlay/textile shopping complexes in Jaipur. While I appreciated the A/C, I didn't like feeling corralled into sales in the middle of the day. What is great about this tour, though, is that if you make your preferences known upfront, Amit & team will do everything they can to make this a great experience, which is what it was for me.

The driver picked me up at 2:30am on the dot (which is one of the options for pick up time) at my hotel in Aerocity and the 3:30h drive to Agra was very smooth. The car was comfortable and I even slept for most of the journey. In general, I can say the experience was very smooth. No issues and the sights are amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Each city has such wonders and there is no better way to experience it. I had the comfort of having a driver always ready and catering to my needs. Each city had an incredibly knowledgeable and eager tour guide answering questions and helping me learn about each city’s unique charm. I am a solo traveler and am pleased that hotels, driving and guides was all covered by the cost. Just remember to bring cash and get excited to see amazing things. I can not recommend enough!!!
